I know I stated that Timoté was going to be my main guy again going forward. Well, that's not happening exactly as planned. lol.

Timoté will still be a main character very much. But I'm drifting, jetting away from the broad side of furry. And with that, any "fursona" character are feeling less involved. I'm still me, I still have the same interests as before and likely as anything Timoté and a couple other characters will be outlets for those. Those interests, however, are not top priority for me any longer. Character Developement, Backstories, World Building; These are top priority. And none of my characters has been a bigger muse lately than Rayzor. The little blue fox I've been posting here and there with his affinity for guns and alchemy. "The Pistol Wizard" has become my primary focus and main character. Tobias and Timoté both have their places in the grand story and world I'm building though. Timoté is "THE Wolf Knight", amongst other wolf knights in a small northern coastal town of Shantyshanks in a medieval fantasy world akin to something like Ebberon where it's post apocalyptic sort of. Tobias is the head magus for same. There's a more cyberpunk or modern version of this world and somehow they still exist in different roles sitting around a table rolling dice ;)

Ultimately, I'm moving forward with all my characters. Rayzor will probably come into primary focus more often than not though. Rayzor Timothy Wyld. IRL my middle name is my father's first name, and his middle name was his father's. I don't believe I'll ever have a kid, let alone name one. So Rayzor has my first name as his middle. His dad is an older character of mine, Doctor Lucas Tochs or "Doctor Toxic". Toxic was a lucario/jackal hybrid that got some wild experiments done to him by his peers and ended up with some wild colors for his fur. This has been adjusted slightly and he's a mutated fennec fox with similar background as to how he got that way and even still has the Lucario "lobes" on the back of his head that look a little like dreadlocks. Fuzzy psychic sacks that contain their aura sensing abilities. Lucario's are weird, and cool ^.^.

Rayzor's mother, is a Kitsune Goddess, minor deity of a celestial or fey nature. When Ray was a kit, she guised herself as a red fox-folk named Kayla. After a disaster flattened their village, Rayzor thought his family was dead. Later he finds "Kayla" as Inaria, not knowing it's actually his mom when she calls him child. She "blesses" him with Kitsune powers and sends him on his way to see what mischief he'll get into. Inaria doesn't so much bless Rayzor, as unlocks the Celestial abilities that came from her. He eventually finds out that his mom is this Goddess and gets pissed and angsty for a bit before breaking down and crying into her once he sees her again.

Rayzor's sister is a death knight named Artrica. and that story is yet untold.

Sorry for the rambling, but you see how easy it is that I get side tracked and enjoy telling Rayzor's story. I haven't been this excited about writing since the end of High School when everything went wrong. The best thing I've ever done for myself is to leave the toxic furry community behind and start drawing for me again.

Not to worry. There will be plenty of paws still to be had here. Also, some thickness and some tig ole biddies. I'm a heterosexual male and I like some boobage. And some booty. And giantess or just size difference. There is a reason Rayzor is more of a fennec style fox. For one, he really started as a Vulpera in WoW, but mostly because fennecs are small and cute, and give me a good reason to make a short fluffy guy that ladies want to pick up and snuggle ;) It's not the size mate, it's how you use it.

At least one of you is wondering this. Yes, there will still be plenty more Karo. Her and Tobias are my primary DM [Dungeon Master]/GM [Game Master] Characters.

I have meticulously gone through my favs and removed AI favorites. I may or may not have missed one or two. Please don't hold that against me, there's a lot of favs. Reading some of my fellow and very much respected artists and I'd like to think friends journals, I made some decisions. AI art just kills artists. I've faved many just for inspiration, but I think that's even too much. It sends the message that I condone it or accept it in some way. I'll poke at AI myself, but just for concepting and it's kept mostly to myself. I use it as a tool to poke at my imagination and get it bubbling like a boiling cauldron of creativity. Anything beyond that is just not cool. When someone posts AI art and sells it, or claims it is their art. It's trash and they're trash. That might seem a bit cold or harsh, but they didn't do that work, a computer did. Computers, that we're trusting more and more with stuff we shouldn't. Computers are programed with algorithms. You know who and what programs them? Humans. The computer is not smart. It does not understand context, body language, tone, etc. You can type in a prompt and get somewhere close to what you want or what's in peoples head's. Great, you speak like a computer and have no concept of contextual clues either.

"But I can't draw!" Wrong, everyone can draw. You lack the passion for art to put the TLC into it to make it something more. Stop saying you can't, don't use AI as a crutch or replacement, pick up a pencil or tablet or some kind of artistic medium and start trying if you really, and truly want to draw. If you don't do that, then you got nothing. Can't lives in a house on won't street. Admit that you don't have the drive to do art and quit saying you can't. AI isn't your work. You are not an artist for using it. You do not deserve money for it.

Real artists that worked on and put love into a piece with actual art mediums of some kind and created something after toiling over it, they deserve the money and you're taking it out of their hands. You're taking food out of their fridge, gas from their car, and putting people on the street from your fake art. And to top it off, it's all NFT BS.

Going forward I will fav none of it. I will purchase none of it. And I will not give it the time of day. And I don't care if this offends those people.

Sorry for the apostrophe on Timoté's name, it should be over the 'e' but DA won't let me do the keyboard command in the title for some reason.

Digressing from that, lol. Artistic Direction. It's been a bit of time with me and my creative energies and drive at a strain. With the loss of my parents so close to one another it sent me into a bit of a spiral for a bit with only short windows and blips of productivity. I still have a good list of commissions from FA I need to do, but with my exodus of that site I don't know if anyone will hit me up here about their commission. I don't mean to leave anyone high and dry and if they contact me I will complete it. My issues were and are with a lot of things and a lot of realizations about myself.

Among those realizations: I don't like the furry community as a whole. Largely due to drastically different viewpoints, and far too many snowflakes. I'm Furry Adjacent. What drew me to the community isn't who I am anymore is all. I'm realizing who I am and who I have always been and who I want to be. I don't want to be solely a fetish artist, though I absolutely will keep drawing those beans because they make me happy. Beyond that, I will be drawing and writing more world building and character concept. Probably a fair amount of trolling art too, sorry not sorry, I have a 40K Skaven I'm refining a piece of for later posting. Additionally, my faith will be represented in my art more prevalently. God gives me this talent and i am remiss in not thanking him for it by representing it in the work. I feel as though some of my drive and inspiration is lost in just that, not paying tribute to my deity of choice.

In the works:

Qureek - Cyberpunk, WH 40K style ratman/Skaven/Anthropomorphic rat. In the world of Nyor [my world] He's just a diminished rat guy. [Diminished = my word for denizens whom have been shrunken by cataclysmic event]. Nerdy, punk sort that likes to hang out at raves and watch all the normal sized gals and guys dance and stomp around to a heavy beat. In the world of Warhammer, or at least my little fan fantasy of it, he's a Skaven that went further than the rest and thought outside the box. White furred "Chosen" with green glowing eyes and a pair of small horns atop his fuzzy lil mohawked head. Qureek somehow someway got off planet and reverse engineered space marine armor from a battlefield or two. Praises the great horned rat still, but calls them a she. Potentially part of Thanquol's crew someone has been noting as potential 40k Skaven lore. At any rate, he's a pet project because I like so many races in so many games that everyone either hates, or loves to hate. ;p

Timoté Kuchov - The Wolf Knight - I am abandoning the idea of fursona's and going back to voice characters, or a face character. Timoté is the official face of my work. Once I have something better to use as a banner and icon Tobias will be taken down. I love my arctic roo guy and his clan/family and as I'm developing characters and backgrounds for D&D games, I'm getting a better idea of who my characters are. I have a much better idea of Timoté's story and who he is.

The world of Nyor is not just my tabletop world, it is also the world in which my characters live. Depending on its setting determines if it is the tabletop version or not. Past/medieval fantasy version is the tabletop, and future/cyberpunk is their canon world. Most of my cast, including Timoté live in the city of Allbequirky. [Steampunk or Cyberpunk self sustaining city of spires running high into the sky and deep into the earth]. But the Kuchov's themselves are from a northern coastal town run largely by nordic/norse aesthetic wolf people, called Shantyshanks. Timoté as a fantasy character is a folk hero of this town and has earned the title of wolf knight for his deeds and garb. Wolf head pauldrons, rides atop a large dire wolf and serves the minor deity Dawn [a giant wolf lady of the light and life domains].

Outside of fantasy, he is one of the Diminished. So he's very smol basically. Any giants, giantess, or "macros" that may be percieved are actually just normal sized folks. From certain point of view, it is true to say Timoté lives in a land of giants.

For those new to me and my work, Timoté is among a race of humanoid kangaroos with the quality or genetic strain of arctic. They're fluffier than say a gray or red kangaroo. No pads on their hands and feet paws, like a bunny they have dense fur there instead of actual pads. Typically their color schemes are white, light gray for the summers, light blues, maybe a hint of violet at times, can be a darker gray.

Rayzor Timothy Wyld [Blightfur] - Kitsune/Vulpera/Fox-folk/Fox-Kin [All dependant of what world I'm building him in. Even a Skaven part of the time, Skaven Rayzor is terrifying and usually comes from Mors or Skryre]

Little blue fox-man with many tails and a penchant for Alchemy and Tinkering. "Alchemy and Arms!" he likes to say.

Started out as an average fox-folk of a mostly fennec appearance with some minor nods in his lineage to red or arctic vulpine. He'd lost his parents, or so he thought, in a tragic attack on the village he called home. Rayzor fell into one of the world's Navies, one night for reasons unknown [because I haven't detailed that part of his backstory yet] the fleet was lost and Rayzor was the only survivor [spoiler, he's a storm fox and something awakened something in him that destroyed the fleet with a storm]. Ray played "Raft" among the wreckage and made himself a little vessel to float onward, eventually drifting through a random ass Tori gate in the middle of the ocean to find himself on a beach next to an extravagant mountain bathhouse/resort run by bright multicolored fox-folk. The owner of the establishment seemed to be aware Rayzor was coming, in fact she engineered it and tells him as much. A giant bright pink, nine tailed, Kitsune woman refering to Rayzor as her child, much in the same way Toriel does in "Undertale". Rayzor gets a bit snippy about that at first, but she gives him space and introduces herself as Inaria, a mid [between minor and major] deity of Love and Trickery. After a time, she blesses Rayzor with the gift of being a kitsune via giving him a giant wet fox kiss, she licks him. Drenched in fox drool and mead, Ray wakes up in a coastal tavern with his raft moored at the dock and finds he has blue fur and an extra tail.

Long story short, Inaria isn't just calling Rayzor her child as a motherly deity would a follower. She is in fact his mother that he thought he'd lost. Rayzor's whole family actually survived the incident in different ways. His sister Artrica became a deathknight, His sister Kayla did some sorts of deals with the devil type stuff [still working the kinks out on her, she sciency], his father Doctor Lucas "Toxic" Tochs became the subject of expiriments for years before able to wander and look for his family while looking drastically different than before.

Tobias Bones: WIP, Caster, Wizard. Of the Bone's family sun wolves, a largely cursed branch of the family. Father lost, Mother became a Deathknight or Oathbreaker but not by choice. Managed to redeem her soul and warm blood pumping in the veins again but not without her fur being marred with a mossy green color scheme and her eyes forever an emissive lich-fire blue. Sister, having cybernetic/mechanical prothetics she built herself after her first workshop blew up, the second one blew up and sank into the swamp, the third one blew up, fell over, and sank into the swamp, but the fourth one stayed up!

The Bones family come from Shantyshanks, and serve as its protectors. Wendi Bones [the mom] is a fierce and brutal warrior that trains the troops, Whenny Bones [the sister] Is a tinkerer that builds defenses and ordinance, And Tobias himself is a bookish sort that spends his time in the library and mage tower. Tobias often helps in defense of the village through arcane means and can be a sort of battle mage at times.

I know someone is wondering, you know who you are. :p Karo Clark, works as a barista in Allbequirky, as well as part time DM in the tabletop game store annex to Kalena's coffee house. Tobias is another DM. This is their canon world we're talking about of course. Tobias is tentatively a diminished and often DM's for the smaller folk. Karo also DM's for them though, but it's usually a more adult themed game where she uses her huge... tracts of land... as plot devices. These games often have alcohol and hemp at them for a bit of extra chaos. They can get pretty crazy. Karo likes a good brew, be it coffee or booze. The Clarks are known in Allbequirky, so in a more fantasy setting they are potentially nobility. Claire and Karo Clark, mother and daughter kangaroo. Karo's full parentage is shrouded in mystery. Claire is definite her mum, but her father is always in question and often changed the subject on. [because I haven't locked down a solid answer yet, lol]. Canonly, in and out of fantasy, Karo has a pouch of holding of sorts. The damn thing has a freezer section or pocket dimension or something. She pulls ice cold beer out of there. :p Why? because it's silly and fun. ^.^

So, yes, Karo is still herself. She has developed quite a bit, but hasn't changed from who she is and won't do any time soon. :)

Get back to being creative. I left high school wanting to be a writer, I aim to do that again. I resolve to make a habit of writing regularly.

I've fallen out of drawing regularly after Dad and Mom Passed. I resolve to get back to that too.

I have a world to build for D&D and a home for my characters alike. The world of 'Nyor'; With only a handful of places and people for the moment. Two major cities: Albequirky and Nudaton.

Nudaton is super fancy and full of the high society folk that think they are better than everyone else with their pristine city and devotion to various religions to the point of many idols being erected in the names of those deities. A very prideful city.

-Under Nudaton: Brews the mixture and cocktail of outcasts and those the society has looked down upon for a laundry list of reasons. A major race in those folks are indeed rat-folk. Nudaton has an undercity of disgruntled denizens. That can't possibly elude to cataclysmic chaos for the prissy pristine over-city at all.

Allbequirky - A city of balanced industry and agriculture. Spires of metal scaling high into the sky and low into the ground. They mine below and grow above and are very self sufficient. Allbequirky is also noted to be low on crime and quite friendly. Even its "shady" areas aren't all that "shady".

There is also the small northern costal town of Shantyshanks with a very old norse vibe to it. Old overturned ships used as housing, runes, meade hall, etc.

Players would start there or in the Ascendanowhere prison, because I love Elder Scrolls and starting out in a prison sounds fun. A good way to tell who my players are.

That's it for the tabletop version of the world, the story version/canon version is more cyberpunk. Could also be the future vs the past version of the world. Not sure yet.

The point is, I have a lot of creative work to do and I am resolving to get a lot of it done this year. Personaly, I'm a year of the rat person. So, hopefully when it comes to February 10th, the start of the year of the dragon, it will be my lucky year :) Dragons and Monkeys on that zodiac are supposed to be premium compatibility for me.

AI art is super pretty. And very inspiring for the aspects of storyboarding or concepting. There is a tragic lack of individuals actually drawing and using creative tools to craft a piece of artwork. Typing a promt for the intelligent computer program to do it for you is not art, it's a cop out.

I'll look at AI art, I'll fav AI Art, But I will NEVER pay for it. That's ridiculous. Pay someone to tell a computer to do art? no. Not worth a red cent.

Granted, there is a certain knack and talent in and of getting the AI to create what one is envisioning. That much I do tip my hat to. That is not an easy task. But you're still not creating the image yourself and that makes it worthless.
